- Art of Problem Solving (math) has paper workbooks and an online curriculum tied to common core standards– great for enrichment or a standalone curriculum (for grades 2-5, it’s called Beast Academy)

- PBS Kids Design Squad – engineering activities using materials from around the home
- Create a bridge out of tape and newspaper or printer paper. Research and build models of different types of bridges to test before constructing.
- STEM activities for kids
- Reenact the story of The Three Little Pigs and build small houses out of straws, popsicle sticks, and clay with stones (or LEGO bricks). Use a hairdryer to “huff and puff” and blow the houses down.
- Create a new character for your favorite TV show. Draw a picture of your character and list character traits. Then write how the character might change the dynamics of the show and its existing characters.
